Hello, and welcome to my 38th Klondike cardset! And it's another animated one.. It's BATMAN again. but not the cool Japanese influenced one with Mark Hamill as the Joker. No, I'm taking you back 10 years before that to the cartoons which seem be based on the 60s camp series (similar stories), with Batman And Robin (The Boy Wonder), which look like they're made by the same animatino team as Scooby Doo. It even has Shaggy as the voice of Robin! Weird.. I kept expecting him to go "Zoinks!", but "Holy [whatever]" was the best I got. Anyway, suffice to say it's not anywhere near as good as the newer versions, but it's stil good if you want to remind yourself of how cartoons used to look.... Oh, in case you're wondering, it's the tape you get free with Batman Forever from John Menzies. Just in case you're desperate to see the one I mean :) As usual, I used DIYREKO v2 cos it's cool, and DPAINT sucks with HAM8 pics... ========================================================================== IMPORTANT!! ~~~~~~~~~~~ I just got my hands on the slightly average SCI-FI SENSATIONS CD (Sorry Spud!), and was dismayed (well, pissed off actually!) to see that the Klondike cards included (My Empire Strikes Back, Dr. Who and Return Of The Jedi, plus others), did NOT have their READ_ME type texts from the authors. So I'll say this in the desperate hope that other companies will listen.... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! Include ALL of the files the cardset came with.. It's not as if it's gonna make much difference on a CD for God's sake!! The "authors" of the cardsets have worked HARD to produce these things, and would like just a LITTLE bit of public recognition for our efforts. Plus, these text files can contain helpful info, like where the pics came from and other cardsets by the same authors.... It is totally AWESOME and would make a handsome addition to any demo collection. Oh yeah, plus the fact that most of the vector animations were done by yours truely :) While I'm plugging, keep an eye out for HACK ATTACK III by me. It's a new cool mega-POKEs list for the Speccy Emulators out there. Written primarily for ZXAM, but people using other ones can use it as well (they just have to input the POKEs manually).... It SHOULD be out on 01/01/96, under the filename ACS-HA3.LHA, though the filename may be different if you get it on the Internet. Over 1000 games hacked, with about 95% of them FULLY tested.
